Looks interesting. I like Greenwood (Nowhere Man and the prez in that Cuban Missile Crisis flick). Its also directed by Twohy, the guy who made Pitch Black.

Looks atmospheric. Doesn't seem haunted to me at all. More like an ominous presence under the sea.

For some reason I think I saw an add for a lovecraft remake for Shadow Over Insmouth. Only it was set in current day....but I can't remember where I saw the trailer from.....*slams head*

It struck me as being lovecraftian because it appears to use a lot of messed up perception and altered reality elements.

To call it a simple haunted sub seems to really ignore the obvious psychological and paranoia elements.

Of course, the trailer could be misleading. But I'm going with the benefit of the doubt for now.

What is Lovecraftian anyway? I always thought that Lovecraftian movies and literature emphasized the pitiful and ineffectual nature of humanity when pitted against the alien and all-powerful nature of the Mythos.
