more pointless predictions by me... Well, I was 2 for 4 on last weekend's games. I went with my gut on the Jets and my gut is a damn fool liar so I shant listen to him again. If the Titans had kept up their end of the bargain and held on to the ball a bit more I would have gotten that game as well, but alas.... On to my picks, in the league where they play (long dramatic pause... ) for pay. (cue football music) Bucs @ Eagles Does history not teach us anything? The last 2 years, Tampa Bay has entered Philly and not even scored a touchdown. But that was with Tony Dungy who still hasn't had one of his teams score a TD in a playoff game. But now Jon Gruden is in the house. He goes against Reid's Eagles who have a somewhat stunted offense in their last 2 games. Reid is a great coach. Both teams will be ready to play in what will be one of two great games this weekend. The Bucs can hold the Eagles to low points but the big question will be in the turnovers and if the Bucs O-Line can stop Philly's D which is second in the league only to Tampa Bay. If the Eagles play the way they did against NY and Altanta, they will lose. McNabb is obviously hurting but even hurt he's a great player. The Bucs have little to no running game. However, we will see more points in this game than most think. I'm thinking something like 24-20. [i]I'm takin' the Bucs as my upset special. McNair could play with a broken leg, bleeding from one eye and with the flu. He literally played his guts out whenever his team needed him to this year. His running back is tired and shot. Most of his receivers are inexperienced at best. But he has found a way so far. Rich Gannon has had one of the best seasons at QB ever. He has been accurate, consistant and a team leader. He has a solid runner in Garner, 2 hall of fame receivers and a good offensive line. The only weakness in the Raiders is their corners on defense.
