1. We always pay cash! 2. We always tip. I worked as a driver back in college! When you wonder why it's taking so long to get your order and you don't tip, trust me its not the traffic. :) One quick story about bad customers... There was once a lady that lived about 8 miles from the store. The managers would always take her $10.00, so someone would have to drive a 16 mile round trip to deliver to her.(most deliveries are on average round trip of 3 miles) Delivering to her was a pain and you lost money in the process. When a driver would arrive, the lady would make him wait at the door for 15 minutes while she found her checkbook. Her house stunk and her dog would jump on whoever was at the door. Then she would stiff the driver (meaning no tip whatsoever for that long annoying trip) Most restaurants are busy at certain points of the night and then tend to die down, so if you got this delivery in the middle of the rush period, you could end up making $18-25 less than the other drivers in the night. Nobody wanted to take this delivery. Some of the more petty drivers began to take things into thier own hands. (not me of course.) They never spit or did anything like that to the pizza that I know of. One driver decided that driving home and doing laundery on her delivery was more important than getting the food to her on time. He also chose to keep the food safe in his freezer while doing his laundry. When he showed up, he said "Digiorno", hinting that they should buy frozen pizza because that's all that they would be getting from this place in the future... You might say that this is crude and so typically American, but heed my warning!!! If you can't tip $2 don't bother because next time you might be waiting for someone's wash to finish before they come to bring you your food. Drivers know who the good tippers are and they are very carefull to presever those people's business. Those who don't tip are castaways. :) Sorry for the length of this post! Dustin
