Message: <blockquote data-quote="BLACKDIRGE" data-source="post: 408814" data-attributes="member: 1953">Yesterday I was idley flipping through the newest issue of entertainment weekly when I stumbled accross some of the best and worst entertainment news I've seen in awhile.It seems that Homer's great epic, The Illiad, is being made into a major motion picture entitled "Troy" by Director/producer Wolfgang Petersen (''The Perfect Storm''). Now that got me quite excited, I have been wishing for this to be done for quite some time, until i read further. Here is the bad news. The part of Achilles will be played by none other than pretty boy Brad Pitt and Hector will be played by soon to be Hulk Eric Bana. WTF!I mean come on. When I think of Hector and Achilles, two of the mightiest warriors in history (mythology), I do not see Brad Pitt or Eric Bana. I could see Brad Pitt as Paris maybe, but Achilles, I don't think so.Anyway, other than the casting choices i have heard so far, it sounds like it will pretty damn good. Can't wait to see who they get to play Helen of Troy.Dirge</blockquote>
