Can someone who has played this game please give a lil' review on it? I'm thinking about buying it sometime, since I liked the 1st one pretty good, but I don't want to waste the money if it isn't a good game.

I have it...I'm playing it....I'm enjoying it.

The character creation is a lot better than the other IWD and BG. 3rd edition rules.

One problem is that like IWD 1 and the BG games, you sometimes have to babysit your characters when moving.

Overall, so far, I'd say it was worth getting, and is worth playing.

...and you can play many of the Forgotten Relms races. (I have a Drow Monk in my group)
