Message: <blockquote data-quote="stevelabny" data-source="post: 1076913" data-attributes="member: 9298">where do i nominate this for WORST THREAD EVER?there are TWO types of people who LIKE the SWK videos.1>those who think that "geeks" are uncool, and gather together with other cool people to pick on geeks just because theyre different. they laugh because "the kid is such a dork" and want to steal his lunch money2>those of us who ARE geeks and have either had a pretend lightsaber or some other equivalent and think this is funny because we've had our own funny embarassing moments and this reminds us of them, and makes us laugh  for that reason.the hundreds of re-edits of SWK and the newest thing i saw yesterday...the SWK web-game are DEFINITELY funny.they are funny in the same way that all the other internet fads like ALL YOUR BASE are funny. a bunch of geeks take one thing that is mildly amusing and blow it into a fad that NOT only reaches some other geeks but also the fringe of mainstream society that is slowly becoming more geekish through exposure to the internet.people on this board probably spend a decent amounto f time with geeks, or on the internet or both. but if you go to work tomorrow and ask the people in accounting if they know who SWK is or what ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US means they will have NO CLUE. anyone who recognize ghyslain on the street as SWK probably thinks hes a cult-hero or f-level celebrity. the only people who are "picking" on him are the same dumb jocks and cool kids who probably picked on him before.ghyslain is apparently a loser. he cant deal with being picked on at school ? hes just been giving an out from the whole thing. he can be a frickin celebrity if he wants. ENCOURAGE the SWK videos,take the money the strangers gave you, make a website, make t-shirts and coffee mugs and make some more money for the next few months while you can. get on tv. now youre not a loser geek. youre a rich celebrity geek. but hes apparently too dumb to put this together. he WANTS to be the loser. and the parents encoruage it by trying to sue rather than capitalize. now hes just as much of a schmuck as the kids who pick on him.anyone who thinks that SWK has been wronged has some issues of their own they need to have checked.</blockquote>
