So far, I've only seen Vader do a few things which were passively evil...... which brings me to my theory.What if Darth Vader had turned to the darkside, then later recanted, but had no Jedi left alive to support his return to the light. Perhaps he actually HAD brought balance to the Force and was looking for a way to redeem himself by destroying the Emperor, but needed to wait until a suitable candidate to help back him up had arisen.</blockquote>
