Only in EP2 is there enough of this stuff hitting them in the face to make it obvious. 3. It is very much implied that a Jedi Master or Knight has the authority to take any force sensitive child as a student. Once he did so Neither Yoda nor anyone else had the authority to stop him. If Yoda is guilty of anything he is guilty of being to stronly inclined to accept tradition.</blockquote>
