My wife is a social worker/therapist, and while currently she has a day job doing therapy for school-aged kids, in the past, she has worked with agencies that dealt with adoptions, and foster kids, which meant she carried a rotating pager occasionally in case there were issues with the kids in group homes, or foster homes. None of the social workers in these places wanted the pager during a week with a full moon, because they all knew bad things were going to happen during the full moon, and usually always did. Last night we were driving back home (from playing D&D!) and it was about 1:00 am. We drove into town, and were a full blocks from our house, on the main street in our town, and there was this guy standing out on the sidewalk, in front of a small trailer park (kind of an eyesore in our town, actually), and was standing there wearing a red satin bra, and had cut-off jean shorts that he had partially unzipped in a provocative "come-hither" fashion. Now, for those that live in the big city, this may not seem like a big deal, and I've seen loonies like this in large cities (Austin comes to mind) but I live in a suburb of a suburb of Kansas City (Spring Hill, for those that care), and this town has a whopping population of like 3,000 people or so. So this was quite a sight. Did I mention the guy wore a full beard? No, well, it was an image that won't be leaving my retina anytime soon, I can assure you. In fact, we had to turn around and drive by just to see it again. This time, he waved at us, and my wife swore she saw pubes since the guy had his shorts pulled down far enough.
