[QUOTE="Zappo, post: 116708, member: 633"] Long post ahead.False. I don't think any "all time record" in weather has been broken in this period. The hottest summer in Italy was tens of years ago; same for the coldest winter; same for the most powerful earthquake; same for the most powerful eruption; same for the most rainy summer; same for everything I can think of. Every summer some newspaper says "this is the hottest summer since...", however what follows is usually a number like, "1998" or *maybe* "1995", so it's not a big deal. :) Don't know about the rest of the world, but I don't think weather has changed "dramatically".Wow, now that's what I call a real scientist! :rolleyes:Euh? So, the Ice Ages happened in a matter of hours? Earth would not freeze so quickly even if the sun suddenly vanished.Make up your mind. These estimates are different by orders of magnitude.
