Yes words can damage a credit report, put a person in the suspisious eyes of the law, yada yada yada. But person to person, the one who is at peace with themselves will NEVER fear or be hurt by the words of another. As for your other statement. A person at peace (sorry to use this so much) can't harm someone else. In conflict with my own beliefs. I am for the strictest punishment available (or worse) for the people you mentioned. But give them the oppurtunity and intervention early on in their lives.
