Crap, it sucks that you've got no one to train with. Can you teach? Maybe start your own club? Or even just with friends. It's a shame to let such a thing fade. Could you transfer your skills to something else at a local club... Kendo stick fighting, Aikido (the weapons training part), Fencing, ect. ect. Sometimes if you find an Art that's close you can transfer your skills with little problem. If you haven't done so yet call around. You may find that a master of another art has experience with you style. I'm not very familiar with your art so this could all just be a dead issue? :) Ya, Taekwon Do (ITF) is indeed my thing, I just got my first degree Black belt last month :D. The test was insane! It's lots of fun. I'd tried Aikido for a while, but it just wasn't quite for me. Very interesting, but not right. If you'd like I can suggest some TKD clubs in your area? I wish I could tell you of a Katori Shinto Ryu Sensei near you, but unfortunately TKD is the best I can do for you... or maybe not... Try the link below, it may be for a "similar" school in your area. If it's not right or even close, they still may be able to point you in the right direction. You could also try asking Aikido Schools if they know of anyone, as the weapons training in Aikido is based partly on Katori Shinto Ryu. http://www.aebc.com/~druid/iaido/ or try this...
