Message: <blockquote data-quote="der_kluge" data-source="post: 1010631" data-attributes="member: 945">30, married.  I'm a programmer/systems analyst at a telecommunications company (one of the big 3), and totally hate it.  We recently got a new manager, and she told us that our only job was to make her look good, so I'm trying to get out, but in this market, that ain't so easy.  And most jobs nowadays are looking for java folks, which I don't do, so I'm sitting here at work, listening to Philip Glass, reading a Java book, and posting on ENWorld.  It's a living.My wife is a non-gamer, but she does travel with me to my bi-weekly game to chat with my friend's wife - since we play at their house.  We just recently had a daughter, Erin Nicole.  Today my wife called and told me that she started sucking her thumb.  She's 11-weeks old tomorrow.Before child (back when I had lots of spare time), I played computer games, and worked on D&D stuff.  I'm currently working on a D&D campaign that I'll run once our current game ends.  I'm playing a human female rog1/sor8 currently.Aside from that, I've got a stupid-impressive collection of Classical music (with an emphasis on modern works) of over 400 CDs.  I've even composed some classical music, but mostly never finished any of it (hey, symphonies are long, you try writing one!)  My name "Die kluge" is the name of a modern German opera by Carl Orff (Carmina Burana fame).Other than that, D&D is pretty much where I focus all my free time, since I'm trying to put as much detail and work into the game that I'll be running.  It will be a high-level game (starting at 9th, finishing at 20th+) so I'm excited about it, since I've never ran such a high level game before.</blockquote>
