Upon graduating, I immediately started programming computers and am currently self-employed, doing contract work.</p><p></p><p>Games I play: Mostly 3E, but also HERO and World of Darkness. I enjoy Shadowrun, but my current group is indifferent at best. I also like Aria, but it entails a lot of work that I just don't have right now. I've run through several other games (Paranoia, Aftermath, Cyberpunk 2020, etc. ) and a "flavor of the week", but none stuck long term.</p><p></p><p>Interests other than RPGs include: </p><p></p><p>-Politics -- I sat on my party's platform committee in 2000 (and probably will again in 2004) and have flirted on and off with a run for office for years. </p><p></p><p>-Religion -- I'm an active Lutheran. </p><p></p><p>-Vampires -- my 10th grade English term paper was to compare and contrast traditional (European) folklore vampires to modern fiction and movies, and it hasn't gotten any better. </p><p></p><p>-Movies, books, and TV -- I actually only watch about 4 hrs of TV a week, but I watch pretty intently for those 4 hrs. I like Buffy (go figure), Angel (of course), Smallville, Robert Jorden, George Martin, etc.</p><p></p><p>-Martial Arts -- especially Hap Ki Do. Unfortunately, I can't find a Hap Ki Do dojang in Cedar Rapids.</p></blockquote><p></p>
