[QUOTE="CanadienneBacon, post: 1038040, member: 11146"] Howdy. I'm Wendy. I'm 30. I'm married to a US Navy servicemember. We have a 2-year-old daughter and 11-month-old twin girls. I'm a stay-at-home mum. We currently live in Seoul, Korea, but we're moving to Hawaii in August. We don't own a functioning vehicle right now, but we've ordered the grand daddy of gas-guzzlers for our arrival in Hawaii...a Ford Excursion...the front hood (bonnet, to those of you in GB) is taller than I am. I was born in Canada of American parents, who are hippies even to this day. I grew up in the American west, lived in British Columbia, Alberta, Colorado, Wyoming, New Orleans, California, Texas, and South Carolina. I've attended university but have yet to graduate...just wasn't serious enough in my youth. I'm currently taking classes from the University of Maryland and have a 4.0 in both Information Technology and Literature/Linguistics. Go, me...proud of myself for finally getting it together in that department. My goal is to finish up school, get that piece of paper, then continue to stay home with the children for a few years. I would like to return to work in about six or seven years, but right now the children are my first priority. It's important to us to do everything we can to help them grow up to be responsible, kind-hearted adults. Staying home to raise them is a big part of that responsibility. My husband is wonderful with the kids and a great guy to boot. Before our first child was born I was in the US Army, working as a Korean linguist and interrogator. I didn't care for it, and was only too happy to leave the service when our first child was born.
