Message: <blockquote data-quote="Trevalon Moonleirion" data-source="post: 1039268" data-attributes="member: 492">hey hey hey!  someone from my future profession! <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" />I'm 18, single, and heading down to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in just a few short weeks.  I'll be majoring in history, with a minor in secondary education.  I fully intend to do everything that I can possibly do to stay involved with theatre--mainly very far from main stage at U of I--and perhaps get a job at a high school that wouldn't mind a history teacher who can direct a school show or two. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />I love D&D, and have been known to play a few other games on occaision as well.  Food is tasty, reading is enjoyable--though I do far too little of it--and TV is an amusing diversion only in VERY small quantities.  I like to talk to people online and surf the web--often simultaneously--much more than sitting motionless and slack-jawed in front of the "idiot box." I dispise reality TV!I love my friends and family.  Hands down, they're the best thing in the world that I've got going for me.  Especially my mom, she puts up with all of my crap for 18 years and gets "rewarded" with my leaving for college... poor lady <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f641.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":(" title="Frown    :("  data-smilie="3"data-shortname=":(" />  Having my father pass away when I was 11 gives me some comprehension about how short and precious life is, but everyone still loses sight of that sometimes.  I learned to play D&D from my Grandma and some neighbors--not too many people can lay claim to that.  She's an awesome lady.  I love making people laugh, especially when they're down in the dumps.  Drama is a ton of fun for me, and have been in several shows at my high school--"Noises Off", "The Dining Room", "Annie"--and I shaved my head for that one--, "The Curious Savage", and "Crazy for You."  I also play the flute and piccolo, as well as enjoy singing.I like to ramble in my posts... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" /></blockquote>
