Other Digital Releases?

So has anyone heard news of anything else changing to digital only format? (Like they appear to be doing with Dragon/Dungeon?)

Could this be the reason for the supposed lack of 2008 products showing? They won't be released in hard copy format? (has someone suggested this already?)

Just wondering...

Not tying to start a THE END IS NEAR topic... (so please don't take it that route if it gets taken anywhere...) Just wondering, since they seem to be making a somewhat big deal out of the whole "Digital Initiative" (sounds big at least) so there must be something to it other then digital dragon/dungeon and a gamers only myspace board... Right?

I've been frequenting the Gleemax forums, and another feature that will be implemented is a game portal that will allow you to play certain games online. Axis & Allies, Guillotine, Roborally, and Vegas Showdown will be the initial offerings in this area. I don't know how much in terms of RPGs, or D&D specifically, will be present in this area, if at all, however.
