The office has been torn apart, there doesn't seem to be a single piece of equipment in its place. Torn wallpaper, and the detritus of a life in the servers, stalking out useful information. Franklin had made a name for himself; anyone living in the Hemisphere would know him, and plenty of others would know of him; the ubiquitous face of the 'white hat'; clever, jovial, and acerbic in his discussions with the general public. He made himself an empire in cyberspace and in the real world; The Grid was his haunt, and his Colossi were an example of malicious protection that has been often imitated but never duplicated. His software to protect business was some of the most ingenious code created; the Vortex was a firewall which could make even skilled hackers confused to the point of leaving it alone. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near . . . There's a reward of ten million for the recovery of Franklin, dead or alive. The images of his office have been online for two days, and no one seems to be near solving it. Except you've noticed some things that people haven't noticed before . . . a small symbol, nothing of consequence except for its appearance in one of Franklin's broadcasts . . . The question is: Do you think you can find him? _______________________________ Hosted on Otherworlders, a Decades Game Cycle Game. 5th Level characters; use Gestalt guidelines (2 classes per level, feats gained by 1 class, talents from both classes). Progress Level - 6 (cybernetics: 7). Follows Piece of Soul rules (500 'free XP' for use of purchasing your first cybernetics). Game will be gritty (using the combat rules found here) and may see more than a few character 'losses' during the run. I'm figuring 5-8 sessions for the storyline; game time will be determined by those who sign up (I'm quite flexible usually on game times, being the DM). I'm running a game currently Saturday Afternoons and Late Late Nights on staggered days during the week (at random) so we can work around that. Just submit character ideas Slainte, -Loonook.
