I just wanted to pop in and talk for a moment about transformations. Twelve months ago, our meetup was a very different animal, while still wildly popular in our area, it was almost entirely driven by Living Forgotten Realms, almost to the exclusion of other games. After some complaints came in that we were suppressing other game systems, a conscious effort was made to reach out and welcome other game systems in, including surveys of our membership, reaching out to those who stopped attending and even changing the site logo. The result, well, take a look at our most recent game list: April 2nd Games List and Signups - The Pasadena Dungeons & Dragons Meetup (Pasadena, CA) - Meetup I'd say it's very diverse, even still with a large number of LFR games in there. Here is the breakdown: 4E Living Forgotten Realms = 8 tables 4E homebrew = 3 tables Pathfinder Society = 2 tables 3.5 homebrew = 1 table Maid the RPG = 1 table Pathfinder homebrew = 1 table ICONS = 1 table Fourthcore = 1 table Dread = 1 table So I guess what I am saying is, we have an AWESOME meetup group, and a wonderful set of people who take the time to invest in and make it something special each and every month. We could not do it without them, and I am so pleased that we now have a far more diverse game set and can get along just fine with one another. If you live in the area, join us! With all those games, believe it or not, there is still room for more. We have 19 tables running at this meetup, and we can fit a total capacity of 27 tables (3 slots of 9 tables). We welcome ANY role playing game to our meetup.
