An expansion based on the Chronicles of Aeres, our goal was to flesh out a dozen bestial races, many of which were only briefly touched on in our first book. Originally slated for 5E, we decided to design it for Castles & Crusades! Knowledge of Aeres is useful, but you can export these races to your own game no problem, and there's a ton of lore in there for them as well. lol I think they were making a joke. Saying it was a real photo.
But the artist is J. Max Wilson. He did a lot of work for the Lost Legends of Redwall by Soma Games (now defunct.)
