Message: <blockquote data-quote="Michael Morris" data-source="post: 1238111" data-attributes="member: 87">:casts "Ressurect Thread":Ok, something new, a preliminary booth design.  Since it could take a month to build this I'd like to get this finalized and out of the way first.  Comments Welcome.Anyway, this setup calls for a 20'x30' space.  While Peter Adkinson has said he'd be willing to contribute space he never said how much.  20'x30' is sizable - specifically it's an endcap space (for those not familiar with the con, isles are 12' wide and vendor spaces arranged in columns 20').As you can see in the diagram below MOST of the space is to allow folks to examine the nominee cabinets.  Each of these cabinets is 7' high and has a 2'x8' footprint.  Ten nominee spaces are in each one, allowing 5 books to be held in each space.  The cabinets will be lockable with sliding plexiglass panels for access (not unlike the electronics displays you see at a Wal-Mart).  The cabinets will be on wheels and on the night of the ceremony they'll be wheeled down to the area in front of the White Hall Ball room after the Exhibitor Hall closes.The remaining space is for ENPublishing and board members.  The focus of the ENPublishing area will be a plexiglass topped counter that will display ENPublishing products.  This cabinet will also keep ENPublishing property under lock & key.Next the social area will consist of two couches with coffee table.  I vividly remember nowhere to just sit and chat in the exhibit hall, and I intend to do something about it if given the space <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f61b.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":P" title="Stick out tongue    :P"  data-smilie="7"data-shortname=":P" />That said, this design can be collapsed into a 20'x20' space if Peter desires.  It's ultimately his and Russ' decision as to the exact size and design of the booth space.  But gathering input on such a project is never a bad idea.</blockquote>
