Jimjar shrugged at Brinn, replying in Undercommon, "I dunno much about this place, but I can get us to my home city. Blingdenstone. There's a way to the surface from there, or so I've heard. Never been to the surface, but you have the look of someone who's seen too much sun and wind." Jimjar paused and glanced at the myconid. "That thing, whatever it is, probably came from Neverlight Grove. If it's a sproutling--I've never seen one that looked like that, though--it'll want to go home to its folk. Queer lot, myconids." Turvey piped up, his voice a gnarled tangle of jumbled words that Brinn had trouble making out but the jist of which seemed to be Turvey's reluctance to head to Blingdenstone. Inside the stalactite, Plain Quaggoth grunted at Kamael and clutched its prize tighter. It said nothing in reply, but exited the stalactite, leaving Kamael to his own devices. Kamael wasted little time scooting down the rope ladder. The next room down was lower in the stalactite's point and therefore smaller. It was incredibly well-appointed, however. Inside, the walls were hung with black mesh resembling a spider's web, extending from a central spot on the ceiling in a tent out to the walls, then draping down like curtains. Thick, woven mats covered the floor, and a low platform covered with cushions and pillows rested to the side. Kamael was in someone's bed chamber, and judging by the quality of the furnishings, it was someone important. One side of the chamber was a small table and two chairs adjacent to a small shrine to the Goddess of Spiders. A heavy chest of black-stained wood perched at the food of the pillow-covered divan bed. Kamael spied an open cut-out in the floor that appeared to lead down to a second chamber beneath this one. [ooc]Cool description of dancing lights, GlassEye.
