Thanks, I haven't gotten enough interest from people (corel users) to warrant a separate coreldraw map forum.
The few tutorials I have made are on the gamefan site (feedback welcome).
But if there are any corel(draw) map questions, I'd be happy to attempt answers...
btw, adobe photopaint (v7 at least) has "THE" water effect called 'ocean ripple' under the filter/distort menu. I posted a sample of the effect on my gamefan site, I applied it to a water filled cavern I made.
