Message: <blockquote data-quote="Obryn" data-source="post: 5199281" data-attributes="member: 11821">OK, I'm working at this one now, and taking a lot of your advice.(1) Moyshanna.  I've statted her up as a ritual-heavy Cleric of the Raven Queen.  I have a very devout Avenger in my group, and having someone who outranks him in the church will (a) make him care more about the plot, and (b) hopefully scare him that the Queen has no idea about these souls.(2) Random NPCs.  Blech.  To heck with them.  Their ally, the noble Goblin Bard Splug (yes, from H1 - a recurring NPC and sometime companion, and the only NPC my players care about, really) availed himself with valor in the demonic invasion.  He died, and needs raised - hence the setup.(3) I'm redoing that entire first encounter.  I hate Sword Wraiths with a passion.  (Really?  Insubstantial AND Regenerating AND an At-Will Weaken?  "Hey, kids, lets cut all our damage in quarter!  And we better do at least 40 HP per round to each one!  Oh, what's that?  He ran through a wall?  Well, I hope he comes back before he's back to full, otherwise we'll be grinding for a while!")  Besides, I need some lower-level undead in the encounter so my party's Swordmage (now wielding Nightbringer) can get some kicks out of his Daily power.-O</blockquote>
