Ohoy LiquidSabre! Since I'm not an ENWorld Supporter (well, not a paying one ;)), I hope the moderators are going to allow me to use this place to, hopefully, get in touch with LiquidSabre. As you probably have noticed, my PbP forum is missing in action. I've written a longer explanation of what has happened on AgainsttheShadow.org, but I'll enclose it here so you don't need to go over there to read it. I'm terribly sorry that I've been out of touch for about two weeks, but I don't have your e-mail address (see below). If you're still interested in playing (e.g. on AtS.org, again, see below) let me know. You can e-mail me directly at c.olesen@tiscali.dk Thanks Claus aka GentleGiant Anyway, here's the whole story as I wrote it on AgainsttheShadow.org: I'm trying to get in touch with those of my players who frequent these boards. I was running a PbP game on my own forum (at http://goatee.frac.dk/forum/index.php), but unfortunately my free webhotel provider had to move their servers to another internet connection. That was supposed to have happened around the 1st of June, but has still not occurred (I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be up again at some point). That also means that I don't have access to the database stuff at my site (although it's hopefully still intact on the server) and thus I haven't been able to pull out the e-mail addresses of my players from said database (which I should have done a long time ago, just in case - I know, stupid, stupid me :\ ). So I'm trying to get in touch with them all through here. I can't remember whom I recruited from where, so I'm just hoping I can get in touch with all of them. I have been thinking of maybe porting the game over here to AtS.org, but all of the info about the game (e.g. character sheets) is still in the database on the server. I DO have backups of the database, but they're not as up to speed as I'd like them to be, so a lot of the posts and maybe even some character info might not be available. I'd also need somewhere where I can set up a new phpBB2 forum to extract the info, but free webhotels with MySQL and php support aren't exactly growing on trees (alas, due to limited funds I can't afford to pay for a site at the moment). I can put up a lot of the background info and the pictures you've seen so far at another site, but no MySQL or php support there, so it'll only be pure html stuff. For those of my players who haven't given up hope, what do you say? I've heard from biohzd (aka Jeff Barber - Halial's player) and he's okay with waiting a bit and see if the site goes back up. I know TheTwilightGuardian (aka Benjamin - Emon's player) and Gworeth (aka Danny - Mordokai's player) are itching to get on with the game and would probably readily agree to see if we could continue here at AtS.org. But I'd like to hear from the rest of you, where would you like to continue and are you still interested? Sorry to bother the rest of you with all this, unfortunately it's the only way to get in touch with my players I have at the moment :) Edit: It is, of course, a Midnight PbP game I'm running, so it's not totally inappropriate to look for my players here I hope :D
