Having said that despite the various issue with 3.5 it is a system I still greatly enjoy playing it. Even if I do go 4e which is not definate I will still support Paizo as I feel that they do the kind of fantasy that I like really, really well. I'm sure 4e will be a perfectly playable game but it doesn't feel like its aimed at me or my view on fantasy, in fact it doesn't even feel like it willing to cater to my take on (somewhat simulationist) fantasy. Again this is just personal feelings created by reading a lot of 4e threads. As for the whole house rules thing at this point surely thats basically what it is supposed to be the final rules will look nothing like this. They just want a basic 3.5e common ground that is similiar to what everyone has already played. They want our feedback on what was wrong with this so that they can make the final ecition what their customers want. It doesn't really surprise me that the intial download is a gaming revolution, it's not supposed to be. They just need a common, familiar point that their customers/playtesters can start from. Personally I think that this is very risky but they haven't excluded themselves from doing 4e. Only time will tell with this one.</blockquote>
