Pathfinder 1E Paizo Announces More Details about Minis Line

I just got my Basic character set.

Paint jobs are... okay - a very small amount of slop. Fine detail a bit off - I suspect that a lot of folks will need to repaint eyes so that they are looking the same direction....

Really need washes.

Better than any of the D&D prepaints that I have seen.

Scale looks to be slightly larger than the WotC figs, about the same as Reaper.

'Tsokay by me - I am planning to repaint them anyway, and as miniatures they are acceptable. The brake fluid is ready, my 'toons will soon be facing... the Dip. (Duhn - duhn - da!)

Not that I have seen. Generally to see the figures I've been going to Paizo's BLOG. Each Friday they reveal a few figures.

I recieved my Boxed Heroes set yesterday also. I am impressed by the detail and really hope it follows through in the main sets.

The detail of the Cleric especially is awesome. I have more Valenar agents for Eberron. (dones a happy dance)


So far I have only two gripes with the main set coming and they are to be expected-

1) Pushed back to January (want now)

2) Based on Pathfinder so many figs will reflect their vision of the monsters. Not an issue except for figures like the Troll that doesn't look like... well a troll.

But as these are my only issues to date Paizo will do well.

I received my set late last week. I was impressed by the paint jobs and certainly the level of detail. Very nice set!
