Interesting. I must admit I am saddened by this news about Paizo's decision. Still, I wish Paizo the best of luck. They are truly dedicated to making great product, and I'm sure they will continue to do so. For myself, if the 4E rules deliver even half of what they promise for improved ease of DMing at higher levels, I will not use the 3.5 rules again other than perhaps for a short low level adventure arc for old times sake once in a while. But I hope Paizo continues to thrive. I may even still buy some of their products, depending on how easy I find it to use their adventure ideas to convert to 4E adventures. I'm afraid WOTC has brought about this somewhat predictable division in the D&D community by first creating the OGL, then trying to put the genie back in the bottle. And jerking around the third party publishers with the delay on delivering the GSL (intentional or not) I'm sure did not help matters. I hope WOTC can learn a trick or two from Paizo's adventure design so WOTC can learn to put together great adventure paths. Now more than ever we will need SOMEONE to produce good 4E adventures. Paizo Adventure Paths....I will miss you in my 4E journey ahead.
