Paladin Frenzied?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if a paladin (chaotic good from UA) could be a Frenzied?
We could say that becoming frenzied might be totally unbonding his mind no?

Thx in advance,

Laharl.

frenzied doesnt mean mindless, so I would say its fine, as long as he doesnt break his code while frenzied, all is fair in love and war, etc

Yeah, I don't think there would be a conflict with the PrC, but he may run into issues later on when you kill a friend or innocent while frenzied...and you KNOW your DM is going to put an innocent in the scene every time you frenzy.

"It cleaves through schools" -- yeah, I'm thinking your luck and your Code will eventually come into conflict.

Cheers, -- N

I would like to know how works the will save.
It is written that when you are frenzied, you can make, at your turn, a free action to stop it (DC 20). It's also written that when you take damages, you have to make a will save (DC 10+DMG) to not enter into frenzy. So, if i take damages from a trap how it works? I make a first will save to not enter in frenzy, and if i failed, i can make a second will save to stop the frenzy before killing my comrades. So all i'll lost will be one frenzy? (instead of a member of my team ;p)

Have you ever know anyone with a really, really, really bad uncontrollable temper? Like they'd stub their toe and go on a killing rampage, screaming and frothing at the mouth.

Like that.

The DC for avoiding frenzy is 10 + 'the damage taken since his last action', so it sounds like it should be a 'on your turn' or 'at the beginning of your turn' timed save. I wouldn't allow the save to break frenzy in the same turn as a failed save to not enter frenzy...seems like you've already failed your chance to not frenzy for that round.
