D&D 3E/3.5 Paladin in 3.5?

To summarise, it seems that there will be some changes to the Paladin's spell list. Judging from the Blackguard's revised spell list, it seems likely that Eagle's Splendour (currently adds 1d4+1 to Charisma for 1 hour/level, may be changed) will be on it.
Piratecat also mentioned that Paladins get "at least one very interesting change". I haven't heard anything confirmed about that, but speculation is that the Paladin will get a Celestial Companion instead of a Bonded Mount.
I've heard that the multiclassing restriction will stay, though. We'll have to see how we can get around that.
