I'd also ask to house rule it so you don't have to go LG alignment if you don't want to, and just swap out a few things here and there for a variant paladin (like Paladin of Freedom) if you're not looking to play a LG character. Also look for something that can switch out the horse if you don't want it. Take the feat Extra Smite or something. Of course you'll have to get this approved by the DM. I never did understand why the hell a Paladin needed Mounted Combat. Especially with all the variants out there that get rid of the thing.</blockquote>
