[QUOTE="Silverglass, post: 1766157, member: 14071"] Just got back in after a lot of timeout problems in the last week, Sorry its last but here is last season's summary. PALUDOSUS Conflict has continued on the Serevan plains although the frequency of raiding has diminished somewhat as autumn moves toward winter. At least 4 villages have been completely destroyed by attackers flying the lion skul banner of Thelomal Sayte and all inhabitants slaughtered. Small numbers of refugee tribesmen have fled over the river seeking shelter within Paludosus and unconfirmed rumours state that raiding parties have been seen on the northern banks of the Cryndon River. In the south of the kingdom there was public shock and outrage as information became public that a secret organisation, of which Lord Sassro veras Thessas was an ally, was responsible for the recent assasination attempt on the Prince of Princes. Martial law was proclaimed in Zerefhan while loyal forces under the command of the ruler, Prince Semsraz Zeref assaulted the estates and properties of the Thessas family. These properties were protected by hitherto unknown numbers of private guards and a number of small pitched battles occurred in the countryside around Zerfhan as fortified estates were attacked. Currently the only location still resisting is Castle Thessas to the northwest of the city which is beseiged while further legions under the banner of the Army of the South move into position. The government has recently published an edict stating that all members of the Thessas and Shastanaz families are to be placed under arrest on suspicion of conspiracy to commit muder and High Treason and that their properties are to be seized pending resolution of any charges. The Shastanaz family estates lie in the west of the kingdom under the eaves of the Forest of Gaunt and reports from local citizens indicate that many of the family and their retainers have fled into the forest pursued by forces loyal to the crown. Trouble has also flared up in other cities where soldiers and other forces, evidently members of the Silent Tongues and Fangs of the Dragon have been involved in small but vicious attacks on private propeties that do not seem to have any connection with the traitorous families already named.
