What Sets Pangenre Apart?

You can seamlessly drop characters from any game setting into any other. The skill-based character system eliminates restrictive archetypes common in many other games.
Pangenre is modular, allowing for easy addition of new content.
Pangenre seamlessly integrates firearms into multi-genre role-playing. Guns, whether archaic, modern, or futuristic, will work realistically, even in medieval fantasy settings.
Pangenre uses a wound system that realistically portrays damage to both characters and objects. Neither your characters nor your robot pals are simply 5-foot cubes of "hit points."
Pangenre is built from Open Game Content as defined in the Open Game License (OGL). This makes it easier for experienced players to assimilate the sweeping changes we made to the character and combat systems. It plays quickly and easily without sacrificing realism, even when fighting large battles, while retaining the depth and detail of the Open Game rules. The base SRD rules have been retained where possible, streamlined and simplified where possible, and converted where necessary.
The Pangenre RPG Core Rules are campaign-neutral and do not include scenario or campaign materials. Pangenre, LLC plans on releasing such materials in the future. The focus of this Core rule book is on modern scenarios, but we have included information for archaic and futuristic skills and equipment to give you added freedom in developing or adapting your games (as well as to give you a sampler of what will be in our supplements).
