Seems like an anime version of The Cell main character.

I'm definitely going to check it out.

Always liked Satoshi Kon. He's a good alternative if you get tired of Hayao Miyazaki's whimsical fantasy.

This film looks like a return to form for him. That being the surreal suspense thriller much like Perfect Blue(which I must get on DVD soon. URGGH :\ ). And do my ears deceive me? Or is that Megumi Hayashibara (Slayers, Cowboy Bebop) in the lead role?
