Where has Paradigm Concepts been since October (besides plotting world domination and cool products for 2002)? Giving away adventures that’s, where we’ve been. Since the launch of the FIRST d20 Living Campaign back in July at Origins the demand for Living Arcanis adventures has been tremendous! Since then we have released 5 Living Arcanis adventures for the RPGA and had thousands of RPGA players create Living Arcanis characters. Originally limited to 6 adventures for the whole year the demand raised those limits 12 and next year could just be “limitless”. The goal of the Living Arcanis campaign was always first and foremost to allow the players to control what happened in the world. Now we are opening even more doors to the players with Adventure and NPC contests, plus we’re throwing in some cool prizes to boot! So look into your Codex Arcanis and tell us about “that story” or “that character” that you could just see when you read it. It’s time to “Make your mark upon the shattered empires”! For more information go to WWW.PARADIGMCONCEPTS.COM Living Arcanis Scenario Writing Contest Write a 6,000 to 10, 000 word scenario for the Living Arcanis campaign. The scenario may be tailored for low to mid-level characters and may be set in any of the established areas of the Arcanis setting. Scenarios should ideally take approximately 3 and a half hours to complete. (Or in the case of a two round adventure, 7 hours.) Scenarios should emphasize strong role-playing, well-developed characters, interesting setting(s) and an intriguing plot. Please DO NOT include the following in your work: 1. Kill off any major character in the setting. 2. Topple any Empires or create a major shift in the balance of power. 3. Create a new Val family or Bloodline power. All entries must be received by either e-mail or postmarked by May 1st, 2002. Top three winners will be announced at June 15th, 2002. All entries become the property of Paradigm Concepts, Inc. 1st prize - The entire 2002 Arcanis product line. That's every adventure, sourcebook and prestige book we'll produce during 2002. 2nd and 3rd prize - A signed copy by the PCI Staff of the Black Book of Ymandragore sourcebook. Selection of winners is final. PCI employees or any affiliates are not eligible to enter the contest. E-mail your entries to: Paradigmconcepts@aol.com Or mail to: Paradigm Concepts, Inc. 6800 SW 40th Street #638 Miami, Fl 33155 Enter as many times as you like NPC Creation Contest Create a complete NPC with a detailed background, fully integrated with the Arcanis setting.
