Message: <blockquote data-quote="Zelc" data-source="post: 4582374" data-attributes="member: 40496">Paragon multiclassing needs some love.  Is this too much?  I guess it depends on how you value swapping an at-will power.  The sad thing is, restricting the level 11 ability is tough since the classes are all so different.  I suppose if the other end of the spectrum would be to allow you to use the ability gained from your multiclass feat as much as the normal class could ordinarily use it until the end of the encounter, but that doesn't work for some multiclass feats.Paragon MulticlassingAdd the following abilities for Paragon Multiclassing:Level 11: Spend an action point without gaining its usual benefits to gain all of the class features of your second class until the end of the encounter.  You can use these class features as prerequisites when picking feats, but feats with these abilities as prerequisites only work when you use this ability.  Class features like the Warlock's Eldritch Blast are restrictions on power selection and thus have no effect if gained when you activatethis ability.  Class features that require preparation, such as a spellbook, also have no effect when you activate this ability.  Ritual Casting class features do not provide you with additional rituals known. If your second class has any class features where you must select between different options when you gain that feature, you must make the choices when you gain this ability and they cannot be changed later*.  When you gain this ability, if your multiclass has any class features that provide you with a feat, choose an alternate feat for each.  Activating this ability grants you the alternate feat instead of the normal feat if you already have the normal feat from another source.  You can retrain this alternate feat as if it were a normal feat. This ability does not allow you to circumvent special usage limits on class features and powers. Usage is tracked across multiple activations of this ability.  For example, suppose a level 11 character with the Cleric paragon multiclass uses the Healing Word power granted by the Initiate of Faith feat.  The character then activates this ability on the same turn.  That character can only use the Healing Word power once more this encounter and can't use the power until the next turn.  A character with a Paladin paragon multiclass and 14 Wisdom cannot use the Lay on Hands ability more than 2 times a day, no matter how many times this ability is activated. Level 16: At level 16, you may retrain your encounter power gained from paragon multiclassing to a level 13 or lower encounter power.*I'm thinking of stuff like Eldritch Pact or the Ranger or Rogue paths.  I'm worried this wording is too broad and will catch unintended things.</blockquote>
