Frankly, Paris is not the best of place to buy gaming books! :D Forget about game stores near the Louvre or Opera too. In Paris there must be a total of 6 or 7 game stores (that sell rpg books in English). I give you the adress of three I remember off the top of my head: JEUX DESCARTES (SAINT MICHEL): 52 rue (street) des Ecoles - 75005 Paris Subway / undergroud station: Odéon or Cluny-Sorbonne. Open: Monday to Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM. This is the shop to go IMO; also remember that the rpg products are in the basement. Don't think they speak English. JEUX DESCARTES (WAGRAM): 6 rue (street) Meissonier - 75017 Paris Subway / undergroud station: Wagram. Open: Monday to Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM. They probably have less RPG books than the one above, but don't remember for sure. Don't think they speak English. FIREBALL: 3 rue (street) Monsieur Le Prince - 75006 Paris Subway / undergroud station: Odéon or Cluny-Sorbonne. Open: Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM; Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM; Sunday from 3 PM to 7 PM. Not a huge choice of books however. Don't think they speak English. Some monday night (from 8 to 12 PM), you may find American D&D gamers in the basement! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: Could be closed in August.
