I'm gonna attempt to answer some of these if I get anything wrong someone tell me. Summoned monsters take a full round to summon so on the wizard or sorcerer's turn they spend the entire round casting. then on their turn next round the creature appears and can attack and the wizard has a full action. I'm not sure the actual rules for this but we play that you know the square but still get the miss chance. I like how your DM did this. rounds are 6 seconds. everyone is actually going at the same time it is just broken up into turns so that you can actually play. I guess if the fighter had gone just before the priest had cast hold person he might have noticed. but hey there is a lot of stuff going on. I don't know about the knockdown feat. That sounds right but there were 2 groups of summoned hawks she could only get rid of one with a targeted dispell. The area dispell would get a chance against any spells in the area untill it dispelled one. starting at the highest. good question. I'd say yes. because of the intent but I'm not sure. the charasma roll was correct assuming the fighter wasn't a mercenary. meaning if he normally would not attack the priestess he would need to be compeled. The fighter would see Firingon's allies as allies when Firingon told him they were his (the fighter's)allies. The fighter would answer the other questions if Firingon told him to.
