A group of 4 seasoned players and one occasional newer player are looking for an additional player with a comparable level of experience. We would like this new player to join within the next few weeks and have a decent level of commitment. We play weekly in Pasadena, Maryland and aim to play at the very least 3/4 a month.
We are a very experienced group of core players that have been playing together for several years, but are open to new enthusiastic gamers to the gaming group. We enjoy a variety gaming styles and campaigns, but we generally aim for a mix of 60% combat and 40% roleplaying. But gaming styles vary by DM. We currently do DMing by committee. We do not have a dedicated DM, instead we have 3 players that are experienced DMs and we rotate every 3-6 months. A player with DM experience and willing to put themselves into this rotation would be a great addition to our group. We’ve played in published settings and homebrews. Some of our favorite games have been in Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, Ravenloft. Dragonlance and many homebrews. We are currently playing a Drow themed Forgotten Realms game and will be starting a Planar Campaign in about 3 months. We play 3.5 or Pathfinder, and at this point greatly prefer Pathfinder.
