His eyes constantly wander as if surveying every aspect of his surroundings- And for good reason. there was an assassination attempt made on his life when he was just a boy. A band of rogues tried to kill him, but made it look like an accidental encounter by looting his mother's hoard in the process- but they only took things that looked expensive and leaving the truly magical items in the cave. He has had a distaste for adventurers ever since. this event made him believe that he was meant for more than just hoarding, but greater things. Being of both elven and dragon decent, he has the gift of incredibly long life, and true wisdom from the ages. The passing year (last year) was his 450th birthday- in which he was dubbed the wisest of the land. the present king, being half dragon, half human, is only 425 years old. When he first stumbled into the kingdom as a lost adventurer, the eldest sister Ederoi was the one that he met first. She got him back onto his feet (physically and financially) and restored his love and thirst for knowledge. She financed his missions with the finest weaponry and magic equipment. He returned from a mission given to him by the king to find that she had been wedded to Mandar. Heartbroken, he turned to anyone who would lend him a shoulder to cry on, and an ear to listen. This person was princess Aidan, the second oldest princess of the kingdom. The daily reminder of his lost love and his being second best to Mandar is more than even he can bear. If you met him in the streets of Kirai, by his mannerism and his clothes, you would just believe him as a peasant. This was how he met Princess Kiran a'Llyra . She believes that he lives his life as he sees fit- and pure of worldly taint. he follows his soul for what it speaks and not of what others ask of him. but this quality is the worst kind of king- being that he would not bear the responsibilty of a kingdom, but rather play with children in a friendly game of wiffleball...

All three ladies are due in labor- and because they have such different racial backdrops and family lineages, nobody knows what to expect and when to expect it.
