I think that Enworld's mission statement for Pathfinder. Outline the changes that are plaguing 3.5 in one thread. PF isn't going to be all things to all people no game ever will. But the biggest things and can be changed. Things I would like to see are: Easier to prep for running games. I can't spend hours and hours of prep time for a game. I busy and i can't put all that prep time in. maybe more expirenced Dms are able to handle this better but i can't seem to ever manage. I think that 4E did a great job on the monster manual and would like to see PF think in the same direction. Wizards was fiddling with the concept of monsters of the same race for filling many roles. Just look at the latter Monster Manuals. 4E took this one step forward and simplified things. High level play again needs to be easier to run. More than a few people complain that they get to 7-10 lvl and they're done. the game fizzels. it's hard to keep up with the prep time needed. Players have their one character to keep track of. the Dm has the whole campaign to keep track of. I'd like to take the christmas tree taken down also. PC walk around aglow with magic items. Yea we all like them but it's hell to redo your character in the middle of combat after they all get turned off. To many bonus types. simplify. The barbarian has been getting some slack in the thread lately but it seems that people are forgetting somethings about the rage points aspect. You don't have to use any of those extra powers! You can still do your standard rage and that's it if you want. Those extra powers are there if you'd like to use them.
