Pathfinder Gears... level question

My friend has lent me Gears of Revolution to run and I've been looking through it really enjoying what I read... but looking ahead (after reading the campaign guide) I'm seeing a disconnect between the projected levels of each book and the actual levels... For instance instance Godmind #10 goes 17th to 19th. Which is higher than the campaign guide projected.

I know that 4e allows leveling to 30 did my friend accidentally get a 4e version... the stats look like Pathfinder though.

If the next book gets you to 20 and you play through the last couple of adventures that level... Well that would be cool. My players have complained before they never get to play enough with their endgame powers.

Basically is the game still just going to 20th? Do I have the right books? Are the last few advances gonna be Mythic (that might be interesting too).

Thanks... loving the work can't wait to buy all the rest and to finish reading the whole thing (just finished book 2).

Yeah, we ended up adjusting some things on the fly. In PF, adventure 11 starts with the party at 19th level, and they get to 20th level. They get to be 20th level for adventures 12 and 13 (though admittedly, 13 is going to be pretty short).

We're not using Mythic, because I don't like the mechanics, and 20th level PF is ludicrous enough as is.

Then again, 4e has stuff at high level like, "Once per day when you die, your spirit detaches from your body and can continue to fight. You heal to half your maximum hit points and gain the insubstantial and phasing traits, and a fly speed equal to your walking speed. At the end of the encounter, if you are above 0 hit points you return to your body and restore it to life."
