Handy.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><strong>Dancing Lights Markers:</strong> The far more effective and "go to" 0 level light spell for an Arcane Caster to cast is <em>Dancing Lights</em>. Get her 4 Light markers for when she uses this spell. The markers are just moved over the battlemat as needed <a href="http://www.coolstuffinc.com/main_supplies.php?fpid=Acc-GlassStones11" target="_blank">4 Glass tokens, orange or red in color</a>, will serve admirably. VERY useful in play.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><strong>GameMastery/Steel Sqwire Spell Radius Templates: </strong>There are various types and assortments of these wire radius templates – all of which are extremely helpful during play. There are a number of expansions to these, but <a href="http://paizo.com/store/gameAids/templates/steelSqwire/v5748btpy7po7" target="_blank">this one is the base package</a>:</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><strong>GameMastery Campaign Work Book:</strong> Cherry Pi is 4 pages away from actually FILLING <a href="http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/p/paizoPublishingLLC/gameMastery/accessories/v5748btpy7fiz" target="_blank">this book with notes and treasure</a> over the past 14 months in our Kingmaker Campaign. So for her at least, it’s been very HANDY.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><strong>Spell Cards:</strong> Keeping with the hand-crafted theme, there are <a href="http://www.thegm.org/perramsSpellbook.php" target="_blank">Perram’s Spell Cards</a>. You might print those out in color on decent cardstock, (preferably in color using a laser printer) and use a guillotine or rotary arm cutter to see they are all spiffy, exact and pretty. To get ‘em all done, that’s a lot of work and a lot of toner. But I am sure it would be well WELL appreciated.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul"><strong>Software:</strong> Lastly, the big one: <a href="http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?context=hero_lab" target="_blank">Herolab</a>. This isn’t totally cheap - but at the cost of a new XBox 360 console game, it's not bank-breaking either in the grand scheme. At $30 for the base program and <em>Core Rulebook</em>, and another $10 each for the <em>APG</em>, <em>Ultimate Magic</em> and <em>Ultimate Combat</em> expansions (yes there are a BOAT LOAD of spells in <em>Ultimate Combat</em>) this software package would be the ultimate resource for planning out and leveling up and printing off her character sheet. You could print out the activation codes and download links on some spiffy rolled up faux parchment paper -- tie it off with a ribbon or use sealing wax to make it look like a scroll/important document. I absolutely swear by Herolab and consider it to be an EXCELLENT product that was well deserving of the Gold ENnie it just received at Gencon 2011.<span style="color: Orange"><strong><em> Highly recommended.</em></strong></span></li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p>Hope these ideas are of assistance to you.
