Re: Warforged in PRPG Well about the whole "warforged & sleep" issue: As I have read some Eberron novels, whenever the party would go "Zzzzz" and the warforged would have to take the night shift all on his on, it was mostly described as him contemplating things such as the moon and stuff, without thinking too much. I back this up. A warforged has to think much more fo the basic social intraction other races make between themselves. A single night without it is probably as relaxing as a good night's sleep to warforged. Its only too bad they will never know coffee :p And as for the "unbalanced issue"... I have played a warforgd character in 3.5 and we started lvl 1, and I was a fighter. And my DM actually told me he thought that the fact that I had to actually "sacrifice" a feat for adamantine body made up the balance. But when we started playing i was the terror of rogue-likes. I mean, with light fort and DR2 rogue-likes wouldn't even pass all their attacks as sneak attacks which would reduce their attacks to an average of 1d6-2 = 2 damage. Also many of that type and some monsters who use poison have similar problems. Immunity to sleep and paralysis made some 2nd-3rd spells such as Hold Person and Deep Slumber, well, useless... But the strongest immunity was Energy Drain combined with fatigue/exhuastion. I mean... necromancers are probably afraid of warforged (being immune to all necromancy spells between Ray of Enffeblement and Finger of Death)... I remember somewhere on that campaing when we were about lvl 7-8 i solo-ed a CR12 encounter of myconoid mushrooms. They had: sleep, paralysis, poison, nausea and could easily wipe a party. But I won. Cause I was simply Immune. And due to the starting gold lvl 1 PCs have i was the only one whose armor was actually full-plate...
