PbEM Servers?

Does anyone know if someone out there provides PbEM hosting? What I am looking for would be someone that mainly would allow for people to send their turns in and the hose company would process and special request in the turn and send it out to the players in the group.

The special requests would be things like die rolls, skill checks, etc. Preferably there would be a way for me to set up the die rolls because we tend to play custom homebrew systems, I.e. something like being able to make open ended rolls, making rolls where if you rolled below a certain number on a die roll it would automatically re-roll the die. I.e. roll 3d6 and re-roll 1's.

I'm not really interested in using a forum type service where people would have to visit a forum, I been doing Email Playing for years and would prefer to stick with that. I'm fine with it being a service I would need to pay for to use.

Anyone know of anything like that out there?

Yikes. I knew some in the late 1990s, but not these days. I'm sure there must still be an active community of them though.

Yea, I know it's kinda old school, but that's what our group has been doing since the 90's. I have a friend that has done a ton of his own work using Lotus Notes, but I was thinking about running my own game and didn't want to impose on him if there was something else out there. (He would have to do all the coding/configuring/etc if he where to host it).

You say you wouldn't use a forum, but if they visited just once and subscribed to the thread, they'd all get them via email.
