And to clarify what I meant, the participants aren't really intended to roleplay. They are instead intended to be movern people trying to live under 17th century colonial rules, with the intent of seeing how times have changed and what that might mean.

If they were supposed to be roleplaying, they'd be acting, and that's a whole different show, a historical recreation.
