PC Gen pc sheet question

I'm using PC Gen and loving it...but on the character sheet, by the descriptions, there's a spot for points. What's that for exactly? Some PCs have a -1 and some have a 0. I would imagine it's a setting somewhere, but I'm not seeing it.

Isn't that the area where, if you're using Point Buy, the number of points you used gets entered?

Right, that's the point buy section. Although I'm confused on why you would be getting negative numbers.

Thanks, I used the random rolls, not point buy.

Also, under preferences, how come it does not hold the 4d6 drop the lowest, but always defaults to 3d6? Is it per character or a system setting that it should hold?

I thought it was a system setting in your *.ini files. Once you set it, it stays there until changed. What configuration (version of PCGen, version of java, operating system) are you using? It sounds like a bug if its not holding (minor, but still).

XP pro for OS, and 5.1 or whatever is the newest one that just recently came out with in a month or so.
I'll double check when I get home.
