Admitingly, I made Kres when TnT's series "Into the West" was just coming out, and Kres was made with a "Fantasy Native American Shaman" concept in mind.</p><p></p><p>As to the matter at hand, rewarding inter-party conflict is not for everybody. Personally I would give 1/2 xp as if defeating the two CR 1 characters, but not for the fight. Instead I would reward having the brass to back up your character's convictions... even though I personally don't understand them. Personally, I would much rather have some inter-party conflict in the beginning than the typical cheesy "you guys meet in a Tavern" thing. Hopefully your party learns and grows from this minor conflict.</p></blockquote><p></p>
