PcGen issues

I downloaded PCGen, and it works great for my Pathfinder game.

Thing is, recently I've been unable to open up any of the data. I can open PCGen, but I can't make new characters or access old ones.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm about to do a 20th level Pathfinder adventure, and I'd like to be able to make GM NPCs as quickly as possible.

Has anything changed since it was working to now that it is not? Any upgrades to the software installed?

A long shot, but I believe I had this issue once when I thought I was going to trim down my install size and uncheck a few things during the install. I reinstalled taking the default options and all was well again.

A) PCGen version
B) standard datasets (I'm assuming that you are using the Pathfinder Campaign setting) and are you using any custom datasets
C) Might be a good idea to post to the main PCGen Yahoo list to get a quicker response

An easy way to fix PCGen (assuming the problem doesn't lie in any custom datasets or character files) is to find out where the options are saved to for PCGen which is found out by clicking on Settings>Preferences>PCGen>Location. If yours are saved to the home folder (which is default) then they should be under C:\Users\nylanfs\.pcgen. And then close PCGen, and delete that options.ini file. If it's to the PCGen Dir then there should be a options.ini folder where you start PCGen.

Then restart PCGen, problem should be fixed.

Version: 5.16.3
Datasets: just the Pathfinder one. That's it.
I'll look it up.

Thing is, tried what you said. I go to Settings> preferences> and then nothing happens.

I've even found the files, but when I try to open them, PCGen is blank.
