It was already mentioned, but I'll re-iterate: The Enchiridion of Mystic Music. Now, I'm a bit biased :), but IMO it's still far and away the best thing for bards out there (haven't seen the Quint Bard yet, but am anxious to see how it stacks up). It's 76 pages (well, 75 if you discount the OGL) dedicated to expanding and in a few spots clarifying the bard - especially as it relates to his music ability. If you use bards at all, this book is for you. The Enchiridion of Treasures and Objects d'Art. Accomplishes several things: first of all, it has a huge variety of materials to make things out of - you can mix and match to get literally billions of "artsy" treasures (instead of the couple dozen found in the DMG). Secondly, it massively re-works the Craft rules (why does a one-inch diameter platinum sphere take a thousand times as long to craft as a one-inch diamter copper sphere in the old rules? This fixes that little problem) and allows great freedom - especially as it relates to Crafting unique items for your players. Thirdly, it puts forth a "new economics" system for communities to solve the "35 billion chickens in a city of 100,000" problem. Fourthly, it provides you with hundreds of ideas for "minor" magic items. Fifthly, there's a ten-page or so demo to look at so you can get some idea of what's in it. It's currently the #3 "hot selling item" at RPGNow.com So, um, there's my sales pitch. :) --The Sigil
